Amsterdam BoatRacing Club – international "oddity" in MLZ Universe – has been formed in Season 02 as an effect of partnership between MLZ and World Ice Boat Racing Series.
First version of the team, led by Aron Arnor, got disqualified from the season due to excessive forfeits.
Second version of Amsterdam team was formed by Matt Sivemess. Matt decided to bring to team Takamasa Ishiura - former owner of Daugavpils club. The leader team formed that way during the season got only one forfeit - in a 3rd place rematch. Stormy situation in Ekstraliga caused that Amsterdam advanced to the highest tier.
Players representing Amsterdam come from various countries - Great Britain, Sweden, Romania, Germany or Benelux. Club also has an academy team located in Frankfurt.
